Academic Profile

Erica Lansberg received her M.A. in American History, Culture and Society from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich in July 2018. From October 2014 to May 2016 she was an English teaching assistant at a school near Salzburg through the Fulbright Austria fellowship program. In June 2014, she graduated magna cum laude from Williams College in Massachusetts with a B.A. in History and Arabic Studies and a certificate in German. She joined the ProAmHist doctoral program in October 2018 and in May 2019 was awarded a doctoral scholarship from the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.

Her research interests include the postwar history of Germany, transatlantic history, the history of childhood, and migration history.
